👂關於 au / aw 的發音說明👂 有媽咪問： 「老師，可不可以不要唸 /ɔ/，唸 short o 也可以呀？」 其實在教學早期， 老師是讓孩子自己選的。 只要發音一致、穩定，我都會接受。 但隨著老師看過各式各樣孩子的狀況， 我後來會統一規定：au / aw 都唸 /ɔ/。 👉 美式發音我們會教 /ɔ/ 原因其實很單純，也很實用。 🔊 因為 /ɔ/ 對拼字比較友善。 當孩子聽到 /ɔ/， 腦袋會很快連到這兩個音組：👉 au / aw 像是： sauce saw draw August 但如果我們把它唸成 short o， 孩子腦中需要反應的可能性就會變多： 👉 o 👉 a 👉 au 👉 aw 選項一多，反而更容易混亂。 🎯 教 /ɔ/， 不只是因為它是美式發音， 更是為了讓孩子—— 一聽到聲音，就知道往哪個音組找。 當然，au/ aw 唸 /ɔ/ 或唸 short o，其實都可以。 但如果我是孩子的第一位「英語閱讀拼字」老師， 我會希望他走的是一條—— 最有效率的路。 所以我會選擇統一教 /ɔ/， 不是為了限制發音， 而是為了讓孩子在「閱讀和拼字」上一起起飛❤️
